To offer is to share from the soul. A genuine offering is not just about the object, but the energy it carries. When we give, we are transmitting a frequency. Will it nourish or deplete?
This virtue reminds us to give with integrity, from a place of love, respect, and sincerity. In African Indigenous tradition, the highest offerings come from the earth. A basket of freshly harvested corn, for instance, carries both quality and intention; it feeds, blesses, and honors the receiver.
True offerings are whole, not hollow. But when we give with poor vibration; out of guilt, pride, or hidden motives; we poison the exchange. This erodes trust, disrupts harmony, and severs our connection to divine reciprocity.
The imagery reflects this: an African woman, grounded in grace, offering golden corn, a symbol of sustenance, abundance, and sacred giving.
